ordering shock cord /cordage

http://WWW.APSLTD.COM is havin a cordage sale for the month of january. I just got 100ft of amsteel from them. Shipping was a little more than what i liked.

And they are still almost double the prices over Redden.... Unless the sale price only shows up in the cart right before checkout.

yeah it shows up in cart, sorry to say I didn't come accross redden before I ordered. I didn't see the HF special post til the next day.

Doing some background checking, I found this thread. I noticed that the end channels were using 3/16 and the longer side channels were using 1/8. Question: Why a different/thicker cord on the end channels? Second question: how much cord should be ordered for a UQ.
