I don't see that as an option. Do you have to logged on or something?

Look under the "More" videos in the white part. It should be written in blue. Right above the ad.

Thanks for the suggestion. I see the area you're talking about but there is no option that you suggest there for me. I went to help and they suggested reinstalling Flash although they think my current version should be enough. They also suggested turning off my anti virus.....like that's going to happen. Guess I'll just be living with it.

Shug I don't see that option, can you do a screen shot? Do you mean the lower right corner of the video window? All I see is "HD" and the full screen option. I did click the HD to turn off high def and it picked up speed, still pretty slow though. I need to pause for a while to let it load.

I'd really like to watch all his videos, Blaze you do a good job.

Thanks Brewguy. I have the problem when I am logged in to YouTube. Can’t play the videos. Thus I have to open an other browser where I am not logged in to YouTube and play the videos there. Weird.

Yeah, that cottage industry is incredible. Though it is troublesome how much gear one think one need. Of the back of my head I think I have 10 hammocks.

I’ll buy one of those tarps when they come in more of a low profile color. You’ve got all the good gear, BlazeAway, verrrry nice! I spotted quite a few things that I’d like to add to my collection. That heat escape problem you talked about happens with 3 out of 4 of my hammocks (doesn't happen with the JRB, BMBH). It’s most noticeable when I lay on my back, legs straight and straight inline with the ridgeline. It is also noticeable if I lay on my side with my legs curled up. Positioning my legs to one side of the centre, completely fixes the problem (WBBB foot box for example). Heavy gauge shock cord on the suspension system and more tension than you would think necessary, reduces the problem quite a bit.

Anyway BlazeAway, I enjoyed your “what’s in my pack” personal tour, thanks for posting it and I hope to see another video from you real soon!

Hi Bruciehi5. Yes the color is screaming “Here I am”, but the weight makes it all good again. As for the heat escape problem I do use heavy gauge shock cord on the suspension system so it is not a problem of big concern. Only thought I would mention it. One day some bright hanger will have the right answer to it I am sure.

Any reason you don't leave the ridgeline connected to the tarp?

I've been hanging it like you, but it occurred to me that I might as well just leave the ridgeline connected and hang it as one. I'll definitely do that once my snakeskins turn up.
The HG cuben tarp gets bulky when in snake skins and the skins (HH) weighs 60 grams. Setup and takedown time is about the same as if in snake skins. When storing the tarp without the skins, the ridge line will get tangled if connected to the tarp I think.

Yeah, that tarp is awesome. Think I will come to like it a lot. In fact I already do.

As to the DutchFly....I find mine almost too small and if I have to move it I need my reading glasses. But it always holds. The edges on mine seem smooth though. But they were from an early batch.
Since I use a 2/3 UQ I have never had the hammock ridge issue. Is it a full length UQ issue! I suppose so. Maybe a draft collar would be a cure.
Love my HG cuben too. They are super light. But I know what you mean about a smaller Edge-Type tarp. My little black tarp misses going to the woods with me.
I enjoyed watching this morning after a long night.

Yes I have the WB Winter Yeti and it do not have the ridge issue. But I am in love with HG UQs. They are mighty comfy. As for the DutchFly it is a minor thing and being educated as an goldsmith I will fix it one day.

    Thanks.

Oh, I like "libs" too. My wife said "of coarse he says it that way, why don't we?"

Thanks Blaze, always enjoy your films.
Maybe you could try Scum's UQ Suspension System to draw up the ends of your UQ a little tighter to get the drafts to stop.
    Good luck,

Hi Redoleary. It is not a thing that is a problem. I love my hammock and if all I could have in this world was a place to sleep, it would be in a hammock. I have seen Scum’s system and have in the past done a similar thing by tying shock-cord from the side of the UQ to the ridge line of the hammock with good results.
