    Lake Motosuko Dive and Hang

An annual cleanup dive at Motosu Lake (Motosuko)

I had 14 divers in the lake for volunteer cleanup
    Temp: 11C low
Lake altitude: 990 meters above sea level

Afterwards, we had a monster grill-fest and nearly EVERYONE took turn napping in our hammocks. I was floored how virtually everyone who tried the hammocks was asking where to buy one.

Every time I looked back at the hammock area, there was a new pair of shoes underneath each one

One of my boys had a friend of the family join and it was her first time to sleep in the hammock.

My wife and I slept in my DIYs as usual, under the Superfly...

...a photo of my dive group that day...

I'm the non-diver in the red shirt...too many logistical responsibilities on my plate on that day to be in the water myself...

Firstly THANK YOU and the gang for doing some clean up. Even if it is half way around the world I appreciate it. Secondly that looks like a really good time, and looks like hammocks are well represented in Japan. Thanks for the report.

BTW how is the rest of the disaster relief going post earthquake/tsunami?
    Good luck,

    Hi, Red...thanks for the comments...

...but this Lake cleanup is an annual event to clean the effects of lake recreation and tourism...not from any disaster...

However, to your Q, cleaning/rebuilding is slow, but steady in the affected areas...

Looks like a pretty spot. Sounds like your leading the way for the hammock world there.

Thanks, MB...I think we might have a lot of interest among the foreign crowd...

I did see on the Internet that there is a small outfit selling HH rigs here, but never seen one in the field.
