    Nick - here's an explanation:

“Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall when the wise are banished from the public councils because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.” ~Judge Joseph Story

I still have a SRL on my WBBB for the bugnet and to hang gear. I removed it on my Traveler and ENO DN. I use these two for dayhikes so I just need the hammock for short term lounging and sitting. I throw it up quick for a snack break or for lunch and I can eyeball the sag pretty accurately. I just found the SRL getting in the way when sitting up in them.

Thinking of adding a structural ridgeline to my DD.
Finally hit the "sweet spot" for my body when camping about a week ago. Thought I could easily match it by sight when hanging again, but found out last night it's not that easy.
Was up at 2:30AM letting out the head suspension to give more sag & lower my head. Got comfort with that adjustment, but didn't think of measuring the distance for a ridgeline until after I'd stowed the hammock this morning. Next trip I'm taking along something to make a detachable structural ridgeline! (not sure how difficult the bug net on the DD Frontline will make attaching it, but hopefully I can use it to suspend the net, too.)

If your sweetspot is hard to you should definitely try a SRL. I am comfy with various sags for lounging, sleeping is different.
