I was a little turned around and just following. It was really the first time I really opened up the motorcycle so I was busy learning and trying to keep up. Bout midway through the day I was up to snuff. Little later on I realized I'd worn myself out while doing it wrong. My lead guy took off up ahead and after a bit I realized I wasn't going to catch up till he took a break, which he did. Couple minutes after I met up with him our tail end charlie showed up and we proceeded at a reasonable rate from there. I think what slowed him down was when I said 'When we went through that town and I didn't see you on the other side I realized how far ahead you must be.' and he looked at me seriously and said 'Town?' He totally missed a whole town, musta been a blur down main street. So somebody else was tired too. It was a great riding day.

I don't know if I can make it but I will be visiting duaghter and first grandchild about that time in March in Ft Smith. Have to see what I can arrange.

I'm not too far away and good to go just about anytime during the week, Pithy. I work weekends and only get 2 weekends off a year so a hang during the week would be best for me.

It looks like we have a start of a nice group hang. Those roads in the area something else. I remember seeing a speed limit sign of 50, and thinking not a problem in my pickup.

I am looking at this one very seriously. It is a bit close to my 10 day hike in April so I may not be able to sneak away.

But just wanting to see the smokehouse set up makes me bad want to come.

would definitely like to do this... its about a 6 hr drive for me, so i will look at if I can do this or not.
