    As I was thinking whoopee slings were so easy any idiot could make them...

    I managed to splice the cord around the arm of my chair. Only noticed it after back splicing the end of the whoopee sling. Guess I'm not just any idiot.

    It's so easy to do something like that and not even know!! I'll pay extra close attention when I make my next ones.

    I was able to fix it with a wrench. The arm was bolted to the back.

    I must admit that's the first time we've seen that posted! I think someone else spliced theirs with a knot tied in the loop though.

    It would have been fairly easy to simply pull the splice back through and do again.

    I'd have just bought a larger pack and taken the chair along...... ya need a place to sit...... right?

    ps: be careful not to tie any whoopies up near the steering wheel of a large truck, a pack that large is very expensive (trust me)
