    The night the Yeti attacked...

I have been using a pad and bag for the last year or so. My good buddy RBDodger came to the Central Wisconsin hang this weekend and said, "Try this out". What contraption is this? "A Yeti" he said and handed me a teeny tiny little stuff sack. He said it would keep me as warm as my pad...

I pulled the pad out and rolled her up...but left it in the hammock, because I was not a believer. Then I pulled the Yeti out. It kept coming out. It swole up. It covered my from head to knees. RB showed me how to adjust it, and how to hang it. It was snug and I was skeptical.

Later that night I had to get out of the hammock and retrieve my poncho liner. Because the sleeping bag was too hot. I almost had to get naked.

The Yeti was more than comfortable it was packable, extremely light weight and a wonder to use. If you haven't tried underquilts before I highly recommend them. Now whether or not to give it back....LOL

Hey, those very lyrics are stuck in my head right now, but doesn't make me think about Yetis! ( and ditto RIP! )

However, I love my oddball Yeti ( odd because a Yeti with only Climashield, from the days before Brandon switched to down )

Is anyone else a "hot sleeper" I was chilly Friday night so RB told me to try his yeti Saturday night... I woke up hot and tried to just vent but ended up moving the yeti out of the way.

Maybe the good Lord is trying to save me funds, maybe I am just too fat to properly cool down. But twice I have used the Yeti and both times I was on the warm side of comfortable. I know this isn't normal...I am rarely normal...but is anyone else too warm with an underquilt?
