    Campmor tarps

Has anyone tried a Campmor ultralite tarp? I haven't heard back about getting a MacCat and would like to find something that will work with a Hennessy Explorer. I'm not sure how well the Hennessy rain fly will work.

Not sure if I should get the 8x10 or 10x12. Maybe I'll go the Neo's way and get the cheap camo tarp!

You can make a BlackCat cheaper than the $80 you'd spend on that Equinox, and get a lot nicer coverage out of it.

I have a 9x9 sportsman Guide Camo tarp. It weighs 1 1/2 lbs with lines.
    It's plenty big.

For what (if anything ) it's worth, I own an Equinox tarp and really like it.

However, I've never used it w/a hammock. I have one worry w/it's durability though: grommets. I haven't had one tear out but I worry about the stress causing it. I'm gonna add some patches around the grommets w/ grosgrain, I think to alleviate this worry.

I haven't used mine with a hammock either but it has gone on plenty of trips with me. So far no problems with the wind ripping it.
I am taking it on my section hike next week.

I have the 10 x 12 from Campmor. Great tarp. I have put a one foot loop of 3mm bungie cord at each tie-out point, makes it easy to toss over a ridgeline and stake out.

Is it plenty water and wind proof? It looks like the rainfly that came with my Clarks except for bigger and cheaper.

Got a pic handy of that neo tarp in action over le'hammock?
