Warbonnet Traveler 1.7 dbl First Impressions

So I just recived my WB Traveler 1.7 in the mail yesterday. I had about 30 min out side before it got dark and I had to pack it in. But I got about 20 min. of hang time and my first impression was wow this hammock is comfortable. I have nothing less to say then I absolutly love it, so comfortable. I almost felt like I got a flatter lay in my Traveler 1.7 dbl then I have in my WBBB 1.7 dbl. Has any one else had that experience? I switched out the webbing and tri glides for woopie slings. And on a side not the one thing I love about my new dutch biners is that I only need one set of woopie's for all my hammocks. I just keep an amsteel loop at the gathered end of each hammock and attach dutch biners to the woopies to amsteel loop. Cant wait to get out and attach my JRB NO Sniv to it as an UQ. I also really enjoy the the no netting gives it such a nice and open feel. My shoulders dont feel pintched in it and I got plenty of room to move around. Two up WBGuy. Thanks for another gtreat hammock. Cant wait to take it on my first trip coming up this December.

Congrats on the new hammock. Very nice purchase. I do the same with my Dutch biners. Very convenient set up.

Congrats! Thanks for the mini review. I'm gonna have to get one of those someday soon.

I'm wanting one of these babies myself for cooler weather hiking when a bug net isn't needed. I wonder if Santa might bring me one.

    I think the Traveler is...

a fantastic bargain for what one gets in the package: ridge line, hammock, bag and full suspension system. Truly an all-in-one package (except for the carabiners or dutch clips for the tree, which are sold separately).

Do you (or anyone else) have any idea how it compares to an ENO Double? I have an ENO now and like it for just lounging in the summer, but am thinking of getting a Traveler. Is there any advantage?

I find my Traveler has a flatter lay than my ENO DN and is good for sleeping the night. My ENO creates a wraparound bathtub feel which I like for laying is different positions and moving around in the hammock while lounging, reading etc. I have a DL Traveler so ENO is better is hotter weather IMO.

I don't notice any real difference in flatness between my Blackbird and Traveler. The only thing I miss is the footbox, not for comfort but for keeping my feet in the hammock. My feet sometimes fall out of the hammock with the Traveler.
