Maybe I can charge the tourist for a test hang if I give it a fancy name like the "wild bear taco hammock hang ride"

Well, I was going to suggest that someone bring a couple extra tarps or a large tarp for us to hang out under if we get rain while at the Festival, but looks like Gunner76 may have us covered
Then again, the tarps he brings may be over hammocks (which is good) & it may be good to have a large tarp for shade as well as rain cover that a good number of us can get under when we need to. A few chairs might be good too, but I doubt that we will all be in that little area at the same time much, if at all.
Just a wal-mart type tarp would be fine for that.
And another thing to keep in mind, if some are taking the same hammock/tarp that you are sleeping w/ in camp, you will want to plan ahead on any gear you leave at the camp ground while we are at the festival. Maybe an extra tarp or plastic to cover it with, or put it in the car.
Just to be sure everyone knows, the large, covered pavilion that we used during the 2011 Winter Hang will not be ours this trip. We may be able to use it in some limited ways, but unfortunately it doesn't go w/ the group site
I too will something make and joy in it's making
Does the group site have picnic tables? Shelters of any sort?
I'm still new to all of this. My daughter has been wanting to see the ponies in the Highlands; she's a senior at King College in Bristol. I may try to make it up for the day and check out some rides, er, I mean hammocks. Won't be staying overnight but may make a good day trip out of it. I'll let you know as time draws near. Think that ride idea might be a winner.
