Shug do you ever play the SouthEast Texas State Fair? or do you prefer to stay further north where its not quite so melt your socks off hot? yes Tyler is usually cooler to the touch than Jefferson County.

just watch what trees you hang from. Poison Ivy vines grow up the trees and are the size of your arm!

he's actually coming down to south padre island, but I forget when ...... not too many trees to hang from down here ..... but there's no poison ivy on the island!

lol Padre Island is 300 miles in the other direction from me.

300 miles, and that's by how the seagull flies! it's a fair drive by car too!
I do a beach sand sculpture at the beach clean up usually every year. (McFaddin Beach in april-ish)

ah then you are right here yearly....nice to know someone here shares my pain if only for a small period of time.

and I was wrong, Tyler is only 187 miles away.

wish I could have made it to Tyler and I wish I could make it to Padre but my car is leaking tranny fluid and only good for short trips in town for now...as soon as I find and fix the leak I can start making road plans for a hang.

Maybe next april, if I'm still living here, I will make it to the beach cleanup and see your sculptures....haven't been to a clean up in years..or McFaddin for that matter.
