A couple projects

I have finished with a couple projects I had been working on. I am finally getting a tarp done. Similar to the Ogee with a 11 ridge length. I made two sets of snake skins out of some fabric store digital camo that I thought would be waterproof for a tarp for my nephew. Turns out water just runs thru the material like a sieve.

The ridgeline will go in the skins when I get it setup. Had to test it in the living room. No good trees around.

Looks good, you can probably get rid of that couch now, LOL. Get us some pics when you get it outdoors, would like to see more of that bug net and the tarp set up.

Gotta keep the couch to keep the gf happy.

I used small scraps of mess netting to make pockets on the end the snake skins. I do need to make a good bug net. I'd love to do something similar to Grizz's Bengal Bridge where it rolls to one side and zips up and around when closed.

In our most recent trip together, I carried both a tent and two hammocks (my eno and a diy for her). Even hung them side by side. But she wanted to sleep in the tent to be "closer". We slept in the tent.

In the photojournalism world we call this combination of two photos "Pairing for the third effect." Love it!! But I know what I would have done in this situation.

I almost completed a bishop style bag. It is filled with a diy hammock with whoopie slings, carbon fiber toggles, and webbing. I still need to add shock cord and cord lockskl instead of the 550 cord that is in it.

I put a button hole with extra tacking on either side of the slit to prevent ripping. I also added external pockets for the webbing straps, but they are too short. I may add a lid and velcro closers.

The pictures are not very good, but here you go.
