The Molly Chair (inspired by Jerry W)

After salivating over the Jerry W UL Camp Chair I was really jonesing over how I needed to build one. I use fixed length hiking poles for the most part, or none at all. So after hiking all weekend with my Molly Mac Pack I had an idea! And here it is...

I sewed up a sleeve that would hold my Z-Lite, I don't use a small pad so the whole thing fits in here! The female ends of the buckles connect to the straps on the MMP for the lower buckles of the Front Pack. The load lifters, or Front Pack upper straps, get threaded through the ladder locks.

    Here it is installed...

And with me sitting in it...

7hanks for the inspiration Jerry W!

Dang ... great thinking there! Even John Galt would be impressed!

Seriously that's creative thinking ... got to love multiple use gear!

Several people have discussed that very idea with me, yesterday and last week... but you went and did it, Hogn8r! Good job!

Multiple use is the Molly Mac Pack's middle name! My mixed use this weekend really drove home just how versatile and comfortable this system really is. I love it!

The X-Treme Hunt is in February, I can't wait to rig it out for hunting and really give it a go.

Excellent Hogn8r! You gotta love it when an idea works out like you planned. I'm glad mine offered some inspiration.

It's a Pack, It's a Chair and it even holds the spars for my new Switchback Hammock ...... But wait, it is also field convertible to serve as a Day back, Waist pack, Tool; hauler, Game hauler.. Grandchild hauler

    It's Super MMP.
Voted ( By many of us here) as the most innovative pack to come along this century.
    Take a bow Mac.

    Cheers,

You know, Hogn8r, you could flip that pad to the other side and use it while wearing the pack!
