    SOLD: OES tarp for sale

    OES 12 X 15 catenary cut rectangle silnylon tarp for sale. 31 oz. 18 tie-outs. Gray color. One year old, used on 3 river trips. Excellent condition. Good base camp tarp, or to provide coverage for more than one hammock. Also can close off the ends for a possible winter tarp. Current price on OES website $235. Selling for $185 shipped CONUS.     Yep, it's a big tarp. If you do a search under 12X15 OES tarp you will find more pictures from others of this tarp is action. This will make a great base camp tarp, or a tarp for two hangers. As with all OES products, this is a very well made tarp with lots of tie out options.

    So this tarp is obviously hung with 15' being the ridge line, putting 6' on each side. Does it have the ability to be hung the opposite way (ie. for 12' to be the center ridge line length and allowing 7.5' sides?)

    Almost. There are six tie out points on each long side. Two at the corners, and four in between. You could hang it with a 12 foot ridge line, but the sides wouldn't be exactly even. You would have five side tie outs if you went that way. There are 18 total tie outs, so you do have lots of options. The first picture above gives the best view of all the tie outs. Hope that answers your questions.
