I was browsing the new items available at warbonnet (great job by the way, Brandon, well done once again) and noticed the A-sym diamond tarp is no longer offered. Just curious as to why.

    Couple more questions.

    1. If I value legroom more than shoulder room can I sleep with my legs at the wide end or does the hammock taper too much for someone Brandons size to have adequate shoulder room when sleeping reversed?

    2. If a 5'11" 185lb person can sleep backwards will the netting be too close to my face?

Dam that thing looks comfy in the shoulder area. Too bad i just dumped a new transmission in the car. I'll have to wait a while before getting one.

if you did sleep backwards, the netting would appear to be about the same heigth off your face as in the jrb, that's just my guess from seeing bmbh pics

i don't think you'd have any extra leg room for laying fetal by reversing ends, when you lay fetal your knees are aprox. in the middle of the arc

we discontinued it, too many folks were having trouble getting coverage over the shelf. we dropped the price of the edge to be closer to what the asym diamond was, i think most folks will be happier with the coverage of the edge.

i made a larger diamond prototype, it ended up being heavier than the edge with less coverage, i think the diamond shape is just inefficient...you can have it very wide and still have minimal coverage at the ends

The saddlebag design is new, but the bridge concept and execution seem to be an iteration of the JRB BMBH, Grizzbridge, and various DIY bridges that came before. Which part is being patented? I have to say, I like what I see. My DIY days might be at an end, though a few mods come to mind...
Looking forward to trying a RR. Good job!
    they're AL, and about 8g/ea

patent is mainly in regard to the saddlebags

Thank you for the prompt feedback. I am using an A-sym diamond and have noticed an issue with my shelf coverage as well. I haven't tried it with a true diamond tarp, like the Kelty Noah's 9 (or the like), but could see similar problems.

I have been eyeing up the edge for a while, and that price drop is pushing me to get one
