I think that must be a pretty slender ( and lucky ) tester.

Sadly, I was one of the "return" folks. But even for me it was a close call, and I was afraid I was running out of time to return it "no questions asked" before I could feel pretty sure that the amount of squeeze was not going to cause me problems ( 6'1", 205 lbs). Also, I think I remember that when I laid on my side I was not quite able to bring my knees up to "fetal position". I might could have learned to make it wok with more time. There was a lot to like about it, I loved it except for my questionable fit.

It is also worth noting that "shoulder squeeze" is often cited by HH and Speer users before they learn to adjust hangs and compensate for it.... It is a factor to some extent in all hammocks.........
So, how do you compensate for it?

Pan, I'd be willing to test the BMBH and report back with my findings.

Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

At 6"3 195lbs I can attest to the lack of shoulder squeeze. I have spent over a dozen nights in the JRB (seven of them in a row) and had no shoulder squeeze. I guess shoulder squeeze is a matter of personal perception.

Back to the video...those guys choke! They possess NO knowledge of what hammocks do...the whole "Bannana" thing shows just how much testing they realy did.

Yeah, those guys in the video are tools. They are more interested in joking around and swinging in the hammock than actually giving good info and looking like they care. They treat it like an expensive toy instead of a viable shelter. That's why BPM is irrelevant.

A few months ago I reluctantly decided to give them my email address & get their monthly "news letter" & see if there was any thing worth while.
After seeing little of interest & reading here (on another thread) about the so called "gear expert", I decided last night to "unsubscribe", but I found no way to do so.
I went to "edit profile" & unchecked the option to get the monthly news letter, but when i went back to check it again, it was still checked.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

    Thumbs up

Had the same "unable to unsubscribe" issue happen to me on a few other sites. I found out that by looking around the entire web site I was able to obtain a valid email address for them and at first I would send off a polite request to have my name taken off their list. Occasionally I would have to "raise the bar" and resort to sending "nasty-o-grams" to have this accomplished.

    Give it a try.
