No defensiveness, only offering my viewpoint.

Aside from the "dissenters using the forum and finding it beneficial" comment, there was also no sarcasm.

Not a mod... but a new sub-section seems like making something more complicated than it needs to be. WTT is all it takes. easy peasy
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

The convention has always been a WTT post. I honestly don't see the difference a sub-forum would make.

I find more stuff on the PIF thread that I want anyway... then I post what I can... generally HUG nets, 'cause I'm good at making them... unless I have other goodies I no longer need..

I like the suggestion in another thread of using tags instead of creating a lot of subforums. Unfortunately you can't use "WTT" as a search term. Too short or something.

Rather than wade through all the "give me money for what I have" posts that obviously (and rightly should) dominate the "for sale" section and waiting three days between claims on the PIF forum, this could be a viable alternative.

Just because YOU aren't interested in adding a sub-forum doesn't mean we don't need any more sub-forums.

If it gets implicated and actually works, I'd be curious to see who of the dissenters finds it useful and only argued against it because it was new.

Ultimately, it's up to the mods/admins because they're the ones who would have to regulate it for off-topic posts.

    Improvement isn't reinvention. It's innovation.

    Gresh,
From your response, it looks like you may not understand that "WTT" stands for "Want to Trade". It's pretty much a forum standard where ever you go. Just sayin'....

Here's a link to our PIF section. It's a really cool concept. Check it out.

I appreciate it, but I was familiar. I work for a local classified advertising paper, and we have a section of the paper specifically for swaps. Just thought it could be applied here for ease of use.
