Good ones are expensive! I would really like a large scale that will measure to the thousands of an ounce, but I also want to buy gear to weigh. Decisions decisions.

What's it matter if it's on an endcap or not? Geez. That's where my store had 'em though.

I know Harbor Freight carries them too. Or they did. I haven't seen any of the plastic ones, though. I like them so much I was thinking of becoming a distributor but it's a $1500 buy-in.

I wrap the loose end of the line through the teeth twice. That seems to work well.

When I bought the 9's at Home Depot for $.01 ea. I also bought afew of the small S biners (metal) for $.01 ea as well. Since then the Home Depots here have not had any...

I don't know the weight though. Handy little suckers, they are.

Hang one of those on your pack and hoof it!!

OK. I did some research on these things, and the listed weights are .112 oz (3.175g) for the #2 and .464 oz (13.154g) for the #4. I think that puts the #2s right in line with the mini biners.

I would like to know the weights of the stainless biners for reference, but I think the plastic ones are gonna work for me.
