+1 on the comments above. Everything is a trade-off.

I have the DB60 DL and use it for colder weather so extra weight will be part of the consequence (in most cases). It is comfy and I find myself having to open the over cover in cooler temps to ventilate as I get too warm.

On the flip side, I can carry a lighter quilt system, due to the DL fabric and over cover, except in extreme cold weather.

    Trade-offs.

If one side streches out a bit, use the other side until they are even.
you're the only person i've ever heard say this. what model was it and what do you weigh? can you send it to me so i can take a look at it?

    Wbbb

I have the DL multicam version. Sweet. This is my 6th hammock, so far so good. It took a while to get there.

    Roasted duck...yum

My go to overnight hammock is my BB. For day trips I may take a one of several different hammocks to relax in

Thanks everyone. Weight isn't an issue now. I'll be kayaking a river for 2-4 weeks, longer if the cost isn't a divorce. Comfortable, tough, easy to set up. I'll have a spare bug net just in case. It looks like Papa Smurf will be getting a call, but after Christmas. Any after Christmas sales Papa?

I was waiting for that I don't see how that could happen either. Unless a 300 pounder slept every night in a 1.1 single

Bear Bag Hanger also stated his complaint about the BB on White Blaze http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/show...-hammock-today.

If the BB was so bad I should have worn out mine a long time ago
