    Very pretty, as always, Blaze.

Something that you might want to think about is ditching the lantern body and then using the Mini Atomic (with the fill port screw taken out) as a stand for the candle. I tried this with my DIY hobo stove and a penny alcohol stove after seeing your set up the first time, and it works a treat for keeping water warm. If you want, I can put photos or a video up tomorrow.

I know a lot of people have issues with the Vargo Titanium Triad Alcohol Backpacking Stove, but it seems to be the priming of the stove that is the problem. A few drops of alcohol in a small bottle-top under the stove should fix that.
The Vargo is only 27 mm tall, whereas the Mini Atomic is 35 mm. If I take the legs on the Vargo of, it is even smaller.
We will have to wait and see.

I see your point and it seems as a very good idea. I will do some fiddling right this moment. Thanks FLRider.

Not a problem. Simple solutions are often the best ones.

The only problem would be with packing the candle body along with the rest. If it's something that's primarily a light source, that could be an issue. Hrm...let me think about possible alternatives...

Do you usually use it on your ridgeline? I can't remember. If not, then a simple windscreen of some sort should work...

I have never used the candle lantern hanging from the ridge line or any other place, because of fear of spilling stearin, so that will not be an issue. And I have started to use it only to heat my drinking water.
But now I have split the Micro Candle Lantern into atoms and can bring it all (90 grams or 3oz) or only a little (30 grams or 1oz), though the 90 grams will not fit in my cook kit, whereas the 30 grams will.
You will get it all on video in due time.
    Best,
    Blaze

I’ve got that stove, it works ok (as Mr Shug said, a bit fiddly), BUT you’ll probably find that you’ll need to use a priming tray to get the stove going. (Your bottle lid will do the job.) I use a lid I got off a Milo tin. You might have a small coffee tin lid you could use. The stove, the lid and the 450 ml cup weigh 106 grams. The stove, priming tray, tinfoil wind shield and tinfoil lid all fit in the 450 ml cup. The tinfoil somehow stains the cup with what looks like aluminium, so I line the cup with a plastic lunch bag, before I put the wind shield in, followed by the other bits.

As much as I love hammocks, that teepee stove tent was pretty awesome.

I'm excited for your spring vids to come and thanks for the teaser.
