    He looks so happy! It was already mentioned but I know for a fact, he will remember this trip for the rest of his life.

    I remember when I took my kids backpacking for the first time, it was a challenge for them for sure. However, to this day, when the topic of their trip is remembered, they never mention the challenges but only mention how much fun it was and it's always followed by "Daddy, when can we go backpacking again?"

    That's awesome! You may have a Ranger in the making there! My oldest son (7) surprises me sometimes with his energy and drive. Looking forward to taking him on a short snowshoe hike and hang this winter.

    Father & son hikes, very special. Memories to last a lifetime. I remember when my son was that age and we'd hike together. those were some of the best moments of my life. Thanks for the pictures. Really enjoyed seeing you and the Trooper.

    can't think of a better way to make some memories.
