Hanging 13m above ground in a tree house

While attending a recent course, I got to hang in a tree house 13m (or 13,5m to be exact

) above ground with the most amazing view.

I have to admit that I have a fear of heights (kinda funny when I'm a hanger

so the climb up had my knees shaking a bit.
After getting to the tree house I somehow managed to control my fear and had a great time up there.

We brought a decent amount of food and beverages - so it was far from a survival trip

(and no we didn't get drunk up there

)

Setting up the hammocks was a bit of challenge, since we had to fit in 2 hammockers and 2 ground dwellers (don't know if that term even applies at that altitude

).

All in all a fantastic hang and I also got to spread the hammock fever

Before ending the 14 day course, we did another hang but at another location - pictures will follow shortly

No, but I admit that's the most obvious thing to take pictures of... In my rush to get up there, I completely forgot it

I'm hoping that the others might have a few exterior shots. I'll add it when they e-mail me more photos.

I'm just going have to say this, I know someone else might be think it. But, what do you do when you have to go to the bathroom?
A. hang it off the side and go.
B. climb down the ladder and use a facility.
Just asking. lOOKS COOL THOUGH!

It depends on what you had to do

Peeing over the side was possible and was done all the time... otherwise we climbed down and used the forest or a nearby restroom.

We had to remind each other to stop peeing over the railing when someone had to go below... could have been a terrible experience for the one on the ground
