Great trip, scenery, & weather! It was good to hang with some old friends and meet new ones. Was that a trail or a rock garden? I will try to get some video up this week. I even remembered to film some hammock setups!

A perfect little weekend trip with great people. I saw the WBBB XLC for the first time - an impressive rig.

A great trip it was. For sure beats the less than breathtaking views of downtown Chattanooga

Wished I could've been there. Instead I was on the other end of the trail...but I was out with my rugrats, so that was nice!
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

I was reading the thread here and I was wondering if any of you guys used the Dog Hole Trail to avoid walking through all the watermelon sized rocks along the creek - or does it even exist anymore?
Seems like that was at the southern end of the trail.

Anyway, I'm glad you guys got to get out and do a hang on the 'Gizz.
I like to go solo - off trail - immerse myself in the area - explore - eat really well - and make it back home.

We came out on the Dog Hole. Much easier trail, but I did enjoy the gizzard. Hanging at Ravens Point sure beat the hotel room I find myself in now
