I just received my Darien UL Monday on my return from Texas. I have only had time to hang it in the yard for about an hour. That was long enough to know I love it. Free Range you hit every wonderful point of this hammock. I found the sweet spot right off, and I didn't want to get out, but I had work to do. Darn!!!
I love the Dutch gear, and it is so easy to set up and jump in. I may have a zipper added to the other side, I like the UL, but I prefer the convenience of a zipper on both sides, to zip the net all the way off. (winter-no bugs)
I really do love this hammock, and it will be my backpacking hammock for sure. PapaSmurf went above and beyond on this little treasure.
    Thanks PapaSmurf!!!!

So BajaHanger, how much do you weigh? The upper limit for the Darien is 200 lbs.

Yep....and it's against the rules to ask a lady how much she weighs!

Dream Hammocks has a nice chart that gives weight limits for each fabric type, ie 1.1SL, 1.6SL, 1.1DL, etc.

I'd like like to know how much stretch margin is built into each of the limits. For example, the 1.0SL gives the limit of 200 lbs as "safe and comfortable". Does this mean that at 200lbs, which I am, I will experience the same flat lay I would have if I used, say, 1.6SL material (weight limit of 225 lbs).

    Looking for hangers experiences.

Like I said, I'm 215 or so and I've slept in my micro many times (it's 1.0 also) I do seem to notice a little stretch, but the lay is just as nice and I have no problems getting a good nights sleep.

    Caveman,
When you notice stretch, does that mean your body begins to curve or "banana" the longer you lay in it?

No, it's not like that. It's kind of hard to explain, but when I get in it "settles" different than my other hammocks. (that's the best way I can think to describe it) I still have a comfortable lay in it.
