Did you buy milsurp or China copies .. or is there another option I haven't seen...

Got a name of the mystery deal maker... Is the quality sufficient?

What are the finished dimensions of the PLUQ? I'm going to make mine from fleece and I think I got too much material so can cut it down and maybe make a TQ.

Looks like the starting dimension is 62"x82" which makes the final something like 62"x41"? And I assume the long dimension lines up with the ridge line?

That sounds about right. If memory serves, a liner is 7' x 5', and you fold it over to make a PLUQ that's roughly 3.5' x 5'. The 5' is in line with the ridgeline. Leastwise, that's how I did it.

That's right around what they go for at the Army/Nave Surplus Store by me.

Little nap yesterday in my backyard, to test my PLUQ by cold weather.

    -2 C (28 F), snowy and windy.

A Ticket to the moon hammock double, a PLUQ with a 1.5 mm foam layer inside and a -15 C (5 F ) rated Carinthia sleeping bag.
    It was cosy and warm.

I will have to put a foam under my feet by the way, to have a good night.
