    Talking mt Rogers wannabees

Hi, my name is titanium_hiker, and I'm bummed that I can't make it to Mt Rogers this weekend... (being in Australia and all... )

So I'm planning on sleeping out in my hammock tomorrow night, in the back yard. Thanks to the freaky weather, I have no idea what I need- good thing it's in the backyard. (Hello Summer?)

    Anyone with me?

I am kind of bummed that I could not make it either. I was going to, but my back had other plans.

On a positive note the hammock stand is on its way. Pretty soon I will be able to hang every night.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".

    Yep, stuck in Florida.

At least it's relatively cool for the timebeing: reached a low of about freezing last night.

    Got this e-mail from Egads:

"I imagine the hangers on Rogers were pretty cold last night. Early bed time to get out of the wind. Gusts to 55 mph on NOAA. Up to 3" of Snow in forecast thru Sunday."

Sounds like they got what they were asking for.
