    Anyone used this ebay supplier?

Hi folks. Has anyone used this Ebay supplier?

    http://stores.ebay.com/englishseadog

I tried a search but no mention on here. The ripstop nylon on offer seems attractive for some diy projects, but he hasnt replied to my emails (2 weeks?).

Im guessing he's either busy or doesn't want my business. I was looking to combine a few items.

The only local sources are not super cheap and the colours are less than subdued for the most part.

I'm not keen to shell out for decent fabrics yet until I get a setup Im happy with.

    Thoughts?

It might not matter for what you're making, but looks like most of that fabric is only 48" wide, which is pretty narrow in hammock terms.
These people have decent prices if you get a bunch of fabric, have quick shipping, and a lot of different stuff that we can use. I usually give an offer that's $.25 to $.50 lower than their Buy It Now price/yd., and haven't been turned down yet.

Hey Browny. I've bought a fair bit of the parachute fabric from English Sea Dog and been quite happy with the service. Emails where handled swiftly so I'm surprised you've not heard back yet. If you used the info@... address you could always try the ebay@ address on his listings or the 'contact this seller' link.

I didn't look at the prices and I'm unsure of shipping costs but I just picked up 8 yards of 1.1oz ripstop from Scott at Backwoodsdaydreamer for very little $$$. Super fast shipping and overall a great guy to work with.

Ordered some 72" fabric from fabricsupplier, looking forward to making a nice wide hammock. Definitely plan on ordering from backwoodsdaydreamer for all other needs though.
