If you think about a lighter head torch, take a look at the Petzl E-lite. 28 grams (1 ounce), 'nuff light, waterproof, white, red, flashing. Forget the protective casing....

Some douche stole my spare tire on my wrangler late last night saw it on my way to the train station. That blows
I have the e-lite. Crap for night hiking which is what I'll be doing today due to the late start. Otherwise its my go to head torch.
So pissed about the tire... Oh and I forgot my stick pic ahhhhhhhhh.

Good hike in. Bailing tomorrow the winter palace is kaput! A tie out wasn't stitched it was just glued and it popped off. I jerry rigged the tarp for tonight. Train comes in at 2pm tomorrow and I'm heading home. Stinks not a good day for the monkey. Shot some good footage though. Besides the tarp everything seemed to work out. Got a ton of food gonna stuff my face now.
