    Hey Keg,
Is that the one you ordered at the Valens hang?
My black friday HG order made it out of Mississauga yesterday and it's waiting at the post office...pending taxes...some $35
(duty/tax + extra shipping makes the sales that much more important to Canadians)
I suppose there's a chance that yours slipped through without the tax, but I think they're on to us...

Hmmm...there's taxes all around. If HG buys down from Canada and pays taxes to import it, then ships the down back to Canada (in a "nylon bag") can they claim back the taxes they paid to import it? My understanding was that tax was always paid by the end user. Any tax or import specialists around here?

Those customs officers in Mississauga must be "WTF is with all this down crossing the border???" FLAG! FLAG! FLAG!! (for duty/tax)
My order cleared customs Tuesday morning, so maybe you caught a break with the customs officer suffering from Tuesday night half price wings and pitchers.

Yessiree...TWO cylindrical sacks stuffed with downy goodness arrived here just before noon. Fortunately my dear spouse is out-of-town for the day, so I was able to stealthily open the package and take it out to inspect .

Oh how awesome! They are perfect in every way. Adam & Jenny actually took my poorly-worded request and got it just they way I wanted both quilts with black exterior and silver/gray interior! The stitching and workmanship is incomparable! I shake the Phoenix and the Burrow out like the instructions say and hung them from the stair railing. I had to rush out to the workshop and try to finish up my hammock stand...set up my BB and lay back to test it...ah-h-h...nice! but coolish on my back @ about 55...wait...I've got downy goodness (and no one watching I rush back in the house and grab the 40* Phoenix from the stair railing and slip it under the BB and carefully climb in...without even a proper setup, lovely warmth covers my backside...oh, I'm going to LOVE this!!

Now to get pictures...back into the house...where did she put that dang BLOGGIE? Well...I guess it will need to happen another day!?

    #175 & #213 are in the house!

JAX - sorry about your tear I'm betting that Adam & Jenny can make it all better!

Sounds like a fun time today for you!

Thx. I have no idea how/when it happened. I'm going to take pics and see what they think. It's not too bad. Of course I can't send it off for a while so I think I'll probably end up hand stitching to keep it from getting worse.
