I don't do my hanging around here, though. I go up to Warren County along the Allegheny River mostly.

And, as a Pittsburgher, I'm pretty sure it's mandatory that I add: GO PITT PANTHERS! And I don't even like basketball.

I don't hang in Pittsburgh but did live in Shadyside for a couple of years while in grad school at CMU. Camped a few times out near Ligonier. Nice country.

that's cool i camp at blue hole the big sandy and coopers rock rite out side of mason town. maybe we hang this summer. let me know

mt lebanon ha? im in carrick brentwood area. maybe we hang sometime. i cycle and kayak so i do alot of my hanging along the yough river. i also hang outside mason town wv coopers rock, big sandy, and blue hole. must say i hate basketball as well

Reggie, Happy Camper mentioned that I go back & forth from Northern Virginia to Saxonburg (6 miles South of Butler). I have hiked some of the NCT. HappyCamper and I are hoping to do the Laurel Highlands Trail this summer SoBo. May or June.

What kind of free time do you have for hiking/hanging?

I will PM you before I head to Saxonburg next time.

I dont live in Pa, I live in Central Ohio. I have all of the topo maps for BOTH states on disc if any of you are interested. They are pretty good quality maps made by toposcout (out of business now).

cool i can get away mostly weekends with a little notice. i hike bike and kayak most weekends if my wife lets me.
