View Full Version : Insulated Bomber Hat Kit by Ray Jardine
Anyone made the Insulated Bomber Hat by Ray Jardine? If so how hard is it to make. I wish I had bought one from Golite a few yrs ago. It was a knock off version of this hat but they have stopped making them. At 1.1 oz (size med) it looks like a good hat to wear in the winter time while sleeping.

i made one but it was early in my sewing attempts & kept gathering up to much hem as i sewed so it's to small.
i also wish it came down around the neck. that would be a great help, but it's not designed that way.
the jacks may have a second on their hats... but i shouldn't have mentioned that. i may want to see about getting one of their seconds at trail days:o

Just sewed one up the other day out of a few scraps of material. Very easy to do, though I wish mine were a little bigger too.
