I'm working on a door kit for my Mammajamba tarp.

I'm thinking of using plastic mitten hooks to attach from tabs sewn on the door to the pull-outs on the tarp via 1/16" shock cord.
To stake it out I will again use 1/16" shock cord but, I'm thinking about using a cord lock at the door to be able to adjust the length of the "guy out".
I was also thinking about mitten hooks to attach the door at the peak & end of tarp using the metal rings on the Mammajamba.

Is there a better way to attach the doors? Or, something better to use than plastic mitten hooks.

Thanks for any input!

For adjustment look at line loc 3's instead of a cord lock.

It may work with 1/16". Definitely works with 1/8".

Mutten hooks sound good to me. I think thats what WB uses.

Like that Warbonnet system.

I've got some silnylon to make DIY doors for a new DIY silpoly tarp. So, I'm glad for this question today.

I went w/the plastic mitten hooks and they work fine. Hopefully the longevity will be good.
