Make a quick tactical tarp Tactarp.

I wanted a small tarp for...
cooking under,
keeping gear dry under,
Day trips and walks with the family in the woods,
Very simple no ridge line,
2.1m x 1.45m, big enough for the whole family in the rain :)
grossgrain micro tieouts,
double rolled hem,
with bag weighs in at 178g - 6.3oz
with x6 4m guy lines 250g - 8.8oz

Double coated both sides 40den silnylon.
Took about 4 hours to make with bag.

One piece of fabric so no joint no sealing needed
This it will go in my EDC bag as its small enough :)

Nice idea. I think this would be a good idea as a starter DIY project for someone like myself.

Nice work.

I used one extensively in my bushcraft days with a bivi bag, great bit of kit. I havent quite worked out how to use it hammocking though :/ EDC though its perfect

Americans and the British. Two people separated by a common language. We talk funny and y'all spell funny. It's all's well that ends well. Nice bit of kit. Well done. :thumbup1:

I'd say it's the other way around... there are an insane number of different accents and regional dialects over here considering the size of the island. You guys changed the spelling... :)
