No family and spent the Christmas alone, so I ordered a new Hammeck Netty!

Placed the order a couple days ago after my great chats with David I pulled the trigger right when he got in the NylonD from Dutch. I will post a review when I get it and try it out! 11' Nylon D, single layer, will be using speedhooks for suspension.

I once spent Christmas alone on purpose because of a big family fight -- one relative made a racist remark about my daughter-in-law. So, I just left. Went to a motel.

Several didn't speak to me for quite a while but the remarks stopped.

There are worse things than being alone.

I decided it was time to start some new traditions. I went for a Hang, it was beautiful, white rain the first night, then it warmed up to 48, clear skies, it was just beautiful. I was truly happy, no stress what so ever, I really enjoyed the holiday, I will continue to Hang over the Christmas Holiday as long as I am able.

Almost in the same boat. Spent Xmas alone, and on call for the hospital. Just me and the Cat. I just ordered my second Hammock brand, also a Netty, DL gray Argon 1.6. Already have a Breezy DL gray Argon 1.6. Sleep in it every night, and have since I received it about three months ago. Like it so much that the WBBB XLC has become redundant and too heavy, LOL. Dave and crew have excellent products, and customer service.

USPS was snail mail through this process but it arrived today, I finally got a chance to set it up in my living-room tonight after work.


WOW, that is all I can say, this thing takes everything that is good about my Kammock roo setup, cuts half the weight and gets rid of the shoulder squeeze. I am beyond impressed Meck family!
