Hello, I have just bought the modular jungle hammock and so far I love it. There is just one problem, I can't seem to fit the rain fly to the top of the hammock over the tent poles. Each time I attach the loops to the bottom of the tent poles it means there is no longer enough tarp to put it around the next one. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to put the rain cover over the top and fit it that works better?

I absolutely love my DD Modular Jungle Hammock. Welcome to the club! I use my rain fly under the hammock for warmth, and a separate Big Daddy tarp from the great folks at Wilderness Logics on a continuous ridgeline from DutchWare.com.
When I tried to use the rain fly, I found it left gaps (on purpose) around the sidewall of the hammock. The fit wasn't all that great.

I actually do use mine. I have not found any gaps even in rain. In colder climate I use a SL tarp over my jungle hammock with it's tarp on, then string up the underblanket. This week is going to garbage or I would go shoot a video showing how I set up. It is a tight fit. I can't figure out how to explain how I do it. so I will be making a video.
