New hanger here, Just pulled the trigger on a Dutch 11'. I'm looking hard at a WD, the question is 11' or 12'? Northern Arizona , lots of wind, crazy rain in monsoon season.
Will the 12 give me that much more coverage over the 11?

I have an 11' Dangerbird and I use an 11' Winter Dream. I have plenty of coverage.

An 11' tarp with doors like WD will give you plenty of coverage over an 11' hammock.

I use an 11 foot tarp with my 11 foot dream hammock with no issues.

I've wondered this too for when i upgrade to Cuben... 11' and risk being too short? or 12' and risk not needing it and having limits on tree spacing and extra weight... (though on Cuben i'm sure that only equates to .5oz)

I like a 10.5-11ft tarp with a 11 foot hammock, at gives a better view and a closer feeling to nature being a touch more exposed. Then just set up in porch mode of average weather and bring some detachable beaks for when it's howling, leave in the snake skins when it's dry.
