Was only able to set it up for about 30 minutes. It was pretty easy to get up. I will have to tweak the the angle a bit. I feel like the head could be a bit better. Can't wait to get out and use it.

I got mine just over a week ago and hung it for a few hours and took a peaceful nap in it. Camping with it the 17th-19th this month and cant wait! It is my first hammock and was surprised how quick it can be set up. Hope you enjoy many trips with it.

Been a hanger for years. Only recently found this site. Wealth of information. New to the XLC as well. Brandon got it RIGHT. dial it in and you will never go to ground or sleep in a traditional bed again.
Cheers

You are going to love it. I don't have any experience with other hammock brands, but I can't imagine a better sleep than what my XLC gives me.

Had it up in the yard for 3 days reading in it each evening. I love it. Tarp offers ample coverage for a steady rain. I am a bit concerned about blowing rain.

I got my XLC about 2 weeks ago with the MJ tarp. Did my first hang this past Friday in the back yard and loved it. I had a hard time getting to sleep but not because of lack of comfort. Between the newness and excitement along with a heavy down pour it was around 2:00 am when I fell asleep. The MJ held up well as I didn't get wet at all. This is my first hammock as well but I don't think you could make a better choice.

just got mine last week spent 3 nights in the backyard my wife thought I was crazy.. 1st night not bad didn't have the head low enough, second night good but just a little to tight and the third night dialed in and did not wake up until the birds decided it was time to get up..

Same here! I really hope Brandon gets himself well, and the crew get back up to speed. Our snow's pretty well off the ground until you get to about 4500ft in elevation; the skeeters haven't figured out what's going on yet, and we're getting a little rain again today (hey, it IS Washington, after all). Gettin` near time to begin scouting for deer & elk, too!

Was at a friend's place for the holiday weekend and they couldn't believe that I wanted to sleep outside by the creek! Had a wonderful two nights sleep in my XLC! No rain, so didn't have to deploy the tarp, but had it in snake skins in case I had to quickly deploy it. My Incubator kept me plenty warm (got down in the high 30's the one night).

I just wish every friend of mine had some trees and a creek in their backyard!

Love my XLC!
