View Full Version : EGL Summer hang????
So is anyone planning an EGL summer hang?
If nothing is planned yet is anyone around July 31-August 3 for a canoe trip/ hike or something to start some planning
Cheers
Really wish I could but my summer vacation is all booked up with family outings. Hope you can get some people out.
I'd likely be up for a trip then.
Sounds like a great idea... Any ideas of where you want to go? Madawaska river trip near Bancroft maybe? Killarney? Algonquin?
Work's kept me busy, but a mid summer trip is just what the doctor ordered.
Would love to join in but we are taking a family trip to Algonquin July 25 to 30.
It's in the planning stage now
Not sure if it's just Liam and I or the whole family
I'm heading to algonquin this weekend ( 4 days !) once I'm back I'll figure out this trip
And I just booked a family trip at a lake just outside the south tip of algonquin.
Hopefully I can make it to a fall hang
Enjoy the summer

Summer is pretty much all booked up for me. I'd love a nice Fall hang though.
I've made plans to hike the Lake Superior PP coastal trail from July 19 to July 25, going North to south, if anyone wants to come along.
Since the original idea isn't flying, I've booked a trip out of Kiosk (Algonquin) for Aug 6-11.
Mink, Big Thunder, Maple, Three Mile, Manitou
Let me know if anyone interested in joining in.
All of those plans sound great. Algonquin trips are always nice but that Lake Superior hike sounds wonderful.
As for myself, I probably won't be able to get away for more than an overnighter here or there until the last few weeks of August and of course our Fall hang in the first week of October (that planning thread hasn't been posted and I should really do that).
^^^
No rush on the planning thread. It's not like we're still patiently waiting on a trip report from the spring or anything.

I'd love to do a trip this summer but I've been in Europe since the end of May, should be home by the end of next week but returning 2 weeks later, definitely going to do the fall hang though,
I can't believe how much I miss northern Ontario
