Shamu is on sale... same price as a Baby Orca!

All Shamu and Baby Orca underquilts are made with Climashield (TM) insulation.
The Shamu with Climashield (TM) is a toasty nest, for sure!

Is this a typo??

"Shamu full length UQ using Climashield™ APEX insulation 3/8″ loft: $135
(Climashield™ is breathable and this UQ is good to below freezing, packable to just over 1L, about 16 oz total weight.)"

Would think you'd need at least 1-1/2" of loft to get below freezing.

Most intriguing...

Good grief! 1.5" of Climashield would be fine near zero!

I should probably call it good to freezing, because you don't want to go much below freezing with it.

PPEF is good to freezing, and Climashield is better. I am significantly warmer with Climashield.

Full length Shamu UQs are 78″ long. 3/4 Baby Orca UQs are 52″ long. Both are about 45″ at the widest point.

I've been wanting one of these for a while now, so I went ahead and just bought one.
I can't wait to use this.

Thanks for extending! I jumped on it yesterday and ordered one, along with a TQ. In plenty of time to test before a two night trip next month!

I've been looking for my first underquilt and came across reviews of your Shamu IX from threads a couple years ago, which had good feedback. However, are you still selling the underquilts with the Insultex or are you sticking just to climashield?
