Hi everyone! It took a while, but Loco Libre Gear is finally open for business. In case you're wondering who the "new" guy is, I used to own End2End Trail Supply. I'm excited to be back in the outdoor gear business! Check us out here at: www.locolibregear.com.

Here's a sample of one of my quilts

Just had a look...looks like very reasonable prices. I was having issues with getting all of the pictures to load. Do your quilts come with stuff sacks? Oh also, I was having issues with many of the images loading on each page...

Yup every quilt comes with a stuffsack.

I checked and the image loading issue you are having is a problem with my website provider. They are working on a fix right now. Thanks for letting me know!

I have one of George's quilts and I must say it is a favorite. Really well crafted and when I look at his prices I am not sure how he is doing it for that price. He obviously enjoys making them because he is practically throwing in the labor for free. I really like the zigzag design and I think it help conform to the shape of the hammock.

You're prices are great. I'm in the market for a full length UQ. I'll be buying from you soon.

Btw I really like the idea of the diagonal baffle design. Does it help the quilt to better conform to your lay?

I feel as though it conforms better. I only use diagonalbaffles in my personal quilts.

Nice. Just saw the pics you posted to Facebook of the matching Ghost Pepper and Habanero, wow! Think there might be a Habanero in my future too.

Mailman delivered my Loco Libre 20 degree Ghost Pepper topquilt today, can't wait to try it out. Got to give a big thanks to George, he had it built and got it to me faster than promised. The craftsmanship is superb and the chevron baffles he does look great. I would definitely recommend checking out Loco Libre if you're in the market for quilts, I'll be ordering an underquilt from him soon.

Thanks George

I really like the fact that you have diagonal baffles on the Hotlong 20". I am realy curious what the experiences of buyers are. If they have the feeling it makes a difference. Anyone tried one and can tell me more?

George: Could you upload some more pics for the Hotlong 20"? I'd love to see it laying open on the ground and some detail pics of the attachment points.

Thanks for the pictures George! Now I need to decide. There are so many vendors and so much to choose from. But your under quilts have something that calls to me :).

Go for the Loco Libre quilts. I own 3 down quilts, a prototype 35° Ghost Pepper, a summer weight sewn through Ghost pepper, and a Habanero. I also have a HIGHLY customized synthetic on the way from George.

I did a review of the Summer Weight Ghost Pepper HERE (https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php/114706-Loco-Libre-Ghost-Pepper) and I've used the Habanero about a dozen night now. I've been meaning to sit and write a review for the underquilt, but I can tell you, I've used it on both bridges and gathered ends. On a bridge, you can't really notice the diagonal baffles. But with a gathered end, it seems like the quilt curves around you better than it would with straight baffles.

I've owned quilts from a variety of vendors, and I've settled on Loco Libre
