Does anyone have this combination? Does the underblanket work well with the XLC?
Works just fine.. the underblanket is long (2m) so it has the length. I find when I first get in that I have to give it a little tug at the feet and shoulders to get it in the right orientation but it's kept me warm thus far. I usually put the extra shock cords over the XLC ridgeline to keep them snug when it's really cold (negative temps) and I usually play a little with the right tension on those to get it just right.
Last time I was out with it in May, I actually woke up too hot when it was a really cool morning.
I have this setup too and struggle to find the ,... right setting, MRH_ON where are you located in Ontario?
