I am looking fo some folks to do a group hang with, and have a nice chat around a campfire in Drenthe in the Netherlands. Time and exact location can be determined together.

Armchair hiker and I are in the midst of deciding when to go. It will most likely be by the end of october beginning of november. This will be just a onenighter. I have some gear I want to test. Anyone is welcome of course, but we also might try scheduling something together for more days. Especially if you need to come from Germany. A single night sounds like a long drive for little joy :-).
Just jump in with dates that might suit you and we'll see if something overlaps. I will avoid winter hangs. I am not suited up for winter, so keep that in mind if you want to add your dates. This year is fine but feel free to add dates for 2016 if you want to.

Good idea. For now I have created a Doodle for the month may in 2016, so everyone has enough time to schedule it in if they want to participate. I have set it, at the moment, to a three day "event".
It is open to anyone as long as they sleep in a hammock :-). I don't care where you come from or who you are, as long as you bring a smile :-).
Now we all have to decide on the exact date for may. But first follow the link and fill in your Hammockforum name (!!!) if you want to join in may. Then we can decide which date would be best.

Maybe adjust the thread name to raise more attention and make it more specific for May 2016?

I can't seem to change it but I asked a mod to do it for me. We'll wait and see.
