Hey guys I have a ton of zipper just email me with the length you need and an offer, im not sure what zipper sells for. but i have enough to probably wrap around my house once or twice in a single length! its white zipper with non rusting plastic zipper.

what is ykk ? all i know so far is its inch and 9/16ths wide plastic zipper so it wont rust.

YKK is a brand name. One of the best known and most respected.

ah ya im not sure on brand name its not labeled anywhere on the zipper itself. i got them in a roll in a plastic bag :)

looks like continuous metal coil. just has a coating of some sort on it. i still wouldn't worry about it rusting though. but, you'd have to know that it's ykk or otherwise need have the pulls that go with it. you have to use pulls of the same brand whatever that is, otherwise they won't fit on there. if it's ykk, those pulls are readily avail.

k i'll find some kky pulls and end stops and see if they can manipulate the zipper mechanism, what would a hammock length zipper with pulls and endstops be worth?

you can get ykk pulls and see prices at owf. they can be trickey to put on, just remember the pull and the zipper both have an up and a down side, these have to match, offset the zipper sides by about a tooth to get it on.
you're looking at continuous coil metal zip tape, sold by the yard

took a real hard look at the zipper i have it really looks like plastic to me. went to walmart couldnt find a single zipper pull anywhere hrmm.. nearest fabric store is 30 miles away i'll have to leave that to another day.

I believe what you have there is Y2K plastic coil #5 continious zipper. Made between the years 2002 and 2004 in the the Southwest province of Turkey. Ok I made that last part up.

I don't think they make continuous coil in metal. I suppose they might but I can't remember ever seeing it. The tooth zipper is made in plastic or metal. But I don't think the same is true of continuous coil. Zipper size is set by the width in mm of the coils or teeth when engaged.
