Been dabbling with zippered pouches this weekend, and now it's time to GIVE AWAY the test subjects. I had to come up with a name, so I got ZPP - Zipper Pack Pouch.

These are water-resistant zippered bags good for packing all kinds of stuff. I wanted to make some for my trip to Ecuador, but just ran out of time.

The goods:

Just entered. Thank You.

Aside from Papa Smurf's video are there any plans? Will this be another kit option from RSBTR?

Are they so simple to figure out a kit isn't necessary?

I made one based on Papa Smurf's video (only without the waterproof zipper). It was a fun project.

Looks great... I'm in!

Are you going to be selling them?

Gee... I'd love to get a machine and learn how to make all this stuff. maybe sometime!

I envy those of you that can sew like this. While I can take an automobile totally apart and reassemble it as good if not better than new, I have no knowledge on sewing. Oh I do fix sewing machines at times. My wife and kids machines but cannot operate one. Go figure. Thanks for the video Papa.

Thanks! Not selling anything finished, but I will put together a kit. I just had to make a few so that I know what I'm talking about when folks ask questions. They are nice. I'll probably make a few more for myself and friends.

That is totally slick. You managed to assuage some of the zipper fear. Totally make sense seeing that. I may not use these hiking or camping but that would make one heck of a diddy bag for toiletries for travel or makeup bags for the ladies. I see Christmas gifts hand made and customized with love from DaddyDaddy.

Points scored. Thanks Papa. :thumbup1:

Kyle, do you have an idea/estimate of when the kits will be available?

I see the kits are up on the RBTR website.

How would I use the grosgrain and drawcord that is included in the kit?
I suppose the grosgrain could be made into some grab loops. Not sure about the cord.

The cord is likely zipper pulls.

I'll be making a follow-on video to Papa's here soon that shows some of this, but the grosgrain would be used for loops at each end of the zipper. The drawcord can be used to make zipper pulls.
