I'm thinking of making a tarp using 1.1 oz Silnylon XL from Ripstop By the Roll. I'm hoping that the wider (65'-66") fabric will give better coverage at the bottom of my 12.5' hammock for when the wind blows. Has anybody had a good experience using this fabric for a tarp?
