Has anyone tried hammock camping at Caprock Canyons state park? Looks pretty scrubby out there...

My wife and I camped there last year. Great park! We stayed at the water only sites and had to use TD stands. The only possible sites to hang from would be in horse camp or the full RV sites. And those aren't a guarantee...
Better have some stands or gear to go to ground.
Also, the std tent sites are on top of each other. We loved the park, but had a problem with TX Tech students being very loud with lots of bad language. I would stay in the horse camp next time. The view isn't as nice but I'll trade that for peace and quiet.
