Hey guys,
I am giving away my first cheapo hammock to a lady in my office for her grandkid which I purchased before getting into DIY. I had removed the cheap factory rope used at the end of the hammock and replaced with amsteel loops. Trying to figure out the best suspension for a 10 year old to figure out himself. I am not going to be there to teach him how to use it, so simpler is better. I can make the straps and anything amsteel for him as I have plenty of leftover, but an not goin to purchase anything extra- bling, etc. Thoughts?

Best suspension for kids is the strap with loops integrated into it, similar to the ENO-style atlas straps. it's really easy for kids to handle and you can be comfortable that it's solid.

MSH is super quick to learn and teach. Hanging from CL means little to nothing to lose or leave behind. Strapworks has some great bright colors to keep them from forgetting the tree straps.

+1 on the Atlas type straps. The simplest suspension out there IMO.
