Is there anyone in the Shenandoah National Park area up for some hanging?
I signed up to be a hike leader for PATC and it would be cool to get some hangers on some of our trips.
EEEks, that reminds me, I better go renew my PATC membership........lol

i'm hoping to get to the smokies some time this year. i'll give you a holler if i do.
I often hang in SNP but I tend to avoid the PATC so I won't be going on any of their hikes

I've always wanted to visit SNP. I may be up for a visit, depending on when. Keep us posted on the dates.
I'll be thru there later this year sometime.

Hog on Ice, that's cool.
I like PATC because they have an umbrella insurance policy. If someone gets injured on one of my hikes, PATC accepts responsibly. Also, the waiver's help too.
I have a calendar, which will have my hikes listed. Please visit www.HikeHaven.com and click on the PATC yahoo group link. Then click the calendar link. Thanks.
I'm right down the street from you and just started this hammock thing on Saturday. I'll take a look at your hikes and see what trips I can make.

OK, but I don't have any hikes planned, or posted at the moment. I have been having some medical issues so haven't been doing much lately. I am hoping to post some hikes for next month, and the following months in the next week or so.
I would go, but I am still nursing my foot.
Where In SNP are you going? When is the hike? How many miles per day would youl like to do?

Well, that is a tough question. I go there all the time. I don't have a trip planned at the moment, and am busy with other plans for the next two weekends. I will do my best to have some dates posted by the end of the week.
