I'm planning a quick S24O (http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showpost.php?p=151327&postcount=1) while visiting family over New Year's and wanted to extend the invitation for any locals who want to join.
The trip is a short two-mile hike along the Red Mountain Trail (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&gl=us&ie=UTF8&t=p&msa=0&msid=117673909484264587124.000478e981bfb19a766d3&ll=37.270365,-113.660173&spn=0.043236,0.057764&z=14) to the rim of Snow Canyon. There views are breathtaking and there are great spots for hammocks along the rim.
I am tentatively planning to hike in on Thu, Dec 31, but I may need to start on Fri, Jan 1 and return Sat, Jan 2.
As I mentioned, I'm planning an S24O because I know a lot of people have family obligations.
