The Grizz beaks have been added to the site. ZQ is taking a breather over the holidays, but she'll be ready to start making beaks and modding HH's in January. We will also be working on sewn on tarp doors in January as well.

Feel free to place an order to get on the list. We make them in the order we get the orders for them.

Be sure and check out Grizz's video (http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12715)about the beaks.

ZQ and I wish you all have a very Merry Christmas.

Hmmm...they seem to be showing up. Go to the "Hammock accessory" page and scroll down. Maybe just try again.

It's so great to be a kayak camper and not have to worry how much something weighs. Prion Kodiak (http://www.outdoorreview.com/mfr/prijon/kayaks/PRD_78833_2992crx.aspx), 425 lbs carrying capacity, paddler and gear.

I hear ya, my Old Town Tripper is rated at 1200 lbs. :scared: I enjoy carrying my dutch ovens with it. I am excited about the modular changes that can be made with these beaks though. I am definitely gonna have a couple of them.

The prototype was 5 1/2oz but we are looking for narrower edge tape that will lose a little. Might make 5 oz.

My original Grizz Beak (i guess i can call it the prototype) was like 5.2 oz....I bet Griz has the number written down...I'm writing from far from home because I cant get home! Super winter storm here in east TN...was a trial getting from Charlotte to Johnson City over Sams gap, saw at least 20 cars off the road and 2 that had flipped.

You might be thinking that 10.4 ounces for 2 is quite a weight penalty--THE BEAKS ARE WORTH IT!
